What happens during my scan?

Your 3D scan will take just a few seconds. We start with a simple "A" pose to calibrate our cameras. Then you will strike the pose you'd like in your 3D model - hold it for a few seconds and you're finished! It's easy and fun.

How will I get my 3D model?

After the show we will process your model. Depending on the size of the event, this could take between 2 days and 2 weeks (for very large events!) for us to process the digital 3D model. We will send you an email with a link to a website where you can view your model, spin it around and download it.

If you ordered a 3D Printed Figure we will also send you a link with the Digital 3D file. Your 3D printed figures ship in about 3-4 weeks after the event.

We offer free Ground Shipping within the contiguous United states.

What is the file format for my Digital 3D Model?

We will send you an .STL file. This is the file type that all 3D printers accept. You can scale it and print it at any size that your 3D printer will allow.

NOTE: if you have a color 3D printer, let us know and we will send you the color mapping files as well.

Is there anything that is hard to scan?

Generally hats with a brim are hard to scan - a thin brim can break off and also obstructs our cameras' view of your face.

Accessories, like swords, staffs and orbs can also be hard to scan. If you would like to include your accessory, "Accessory Modeling" on to your order and we will professionally model it for you using the images we take in the scanning booth for reference.

Finally, right now we can scan anyone who is 6'5" and under!
